India vs England Test Series Begins Tomorrow

India is going to play 5 match test series in England this time, and even an ODI series after it. This series is going to be a very interesting one as this time Indian team is very much changed than the team which played the previous test series in England. As this is a 5 match test series, we will be able to know the strength and weakness of both the teams.

India's Test Squad of 18 players

M.S Dhoni (captain), Gautam Gambhir, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Wriddhiman Shah, R. Ashwin, Murali Vijay, Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Ishwar Pandey, Stuart Binny, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami, Varun Aaron, Pankaj Singh.

Gautam Gambhir is back into the Indian test team after a long time, and that's why it will be interesting to see that whether he will prove his inclusion for England's test series to be worthy. Pankaj Singh, medium pace fast bowler has also been included in the test team. It has been a long time since I've seen Pankaj Singh bowling for the Indian team. As already bowlers like Ishant, Pandey, Varoon, Bhuvaneshwar are available, it will be interesting to see that whether Pankaj Singh will get an opportunity or not.

In a interview, Virat Kohli said that we need to forget the previous performance by India in England as the team is very much different. Virat Kohli also must be hoping to perform to his potential in this test series as there is very high hope from him this time.

Shikhar Dhawan has not been in his best form recently, then too he has been given one more oppportunity. If Shikhar wants to get more opportunities then he'll have to perform to his potential in this test series. As there are 4 opening batsman in the squad for this test series, it will be interesting to see that which 2 will get the opportunity to play in the first test match.

Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh have been left out from the test squad.

 England's Test Squad

Alistair Cook (captain), James Anderson, Moeen Ali, Ian Bell, Chris Jordan, Stuart Board, Gary Ballance, Liam Plunkett, Sam Robson, Matt Prior (wicket), Chris Woakes, Ben Stokes, Joe Root

Here is the schedule of the  Test Series

1st Test Match - 9 July to 13 July, Trent Bridge

2nd Test Match - 17 July to 21 July, Lords

3rd Test Match - 27 July to 31 July, Ageas Bowl

4th Test Match - 7 August to 11 August, Emirates Old Trafford

5th Test Match - 15 August to 19 August, Kia Oval

After the end of the test series, India and England will play a 5 matches ODI series which will begin from 25th August and end on 5th September.

India will be also playing a T20 match against England on 7th September.

I'm excited for the test series which India is playing in England. Indian batsman struggle against fast bowling on pitches which provide good help to seamers, and that's it will be interesting to see that whether Indian batsman will perform well or not. Are you also very excited for this test series of India against England?
