Finally we have got to know one of the two teams who will be playing the World T20 final. Sri Lanka has beaten West Indies in the first Semi final and they will be now playing the final of this fascinating T20 cup. Who will be the second team? West Indies deserved to win this match but because of Duckworth-Lewis system and bad performance by the openers they lost the match. Chris Gayle and Dwayne Smith both failed in this Semi final match and this was all because of Malinga. Lasith Malina got both of them out and if they had not failed, West Indies could have won the match.
Wickets matter according to Duckworth-Lewis system. When the rain started West Indies were struggling at 80 runs and they had lost 4 wickets. The par score according to this system should have been 107 runs and that's why West Indies lost the match. 80 is really a low score as they had already played 13.5 overs. This shows that West Indies failed were playing very slowly which shows how good Sri Lanka's bowlers performed.
