Dale Steyn Makes South Africa Win Against New Zealand

Match between South Africa and New Zealand in this on going World Cup T20 was the most exciting match. The match can be said to be exciting as it was the last over by Dale Steyn which changed the match completely. Getting 7 runs in the last over is not that hard but due to Dale Steyn's fast bowling New Zealand failed at it. South Africa won the match all because of their fast bowler Dale Steyn.

Batting first South Africa made 170 runs losing 6 wickets. South African player J.P Duminy was the highest scorer and he himself scored 86 runs. After putting up 170 runs on the board South Africa definitely thought that the score will be enough but at the same time they knew that New Zealand has many all-rounders and good batsman even in the lower middle order.

New Zealand openers Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson were able to give a good start against the South African fast bowlers. Good start must have definitely boosted confidence in the mind of New Zealand batsman which were going to follow the openers. After losing both the openers and Brendon McCullum the difficulty for South African team began.

Ross Taylor was the highest scorer for New Zealand team against South Africa in this World T20 match. He scored 62 runs and it seemed that he has taken the responsibility of making New Zealand win this match against Africa.

In the last over New Zealand needed only 7 runs to win and all thought that New Zealand batsman will be able to do it easily. The superb fast bowler Dale Steyn again raised up to the occasion and he this time took 2 wickets. He gave only 4 runs in the last over which made South Africa win the match which they were going to lose.

This match made the fans of Dale Steyn very happy not only in South Africa but also worldwide. As Dale Steyn seems to be in so good bowling form, it will be exciting to see how other teams would handle his bowling in this T20 World Cup.
