May be as every other company as some limit in their internet plans for data usage now the same has been done by Aircel. Aircel used to provide unlimited internet for 3 days for Rs 14, for a week for Rs 28 and for a month for Rs 98. There was no limit of data usage and we were able to use it as much we want but now Aircel too has limited the data usage and it may make many customers upset who loved to use the internet without the tension of limitage of data usage.The plan has remained unlimited for using on mobile but it has been changed for computer and laptop connectivity. The change in plan is as follows.
Aircel pocket internet will now have limit for usage on computer or laptop but there will be no limit on usage on mobile. You will be able to use 250MB in 14 Rs aircel pocket internet, 750 MB in 28 rupees pocket internet and 3GB in 98 Rs pocket internet plan . This may not upset those who used internet once a while but you had more dependence on aircel pocket internet may have to think for some options or may be getting 98 Rs recharge twice or thrice a month according to usage.
I am so dependent on Aircel pocket internet… it has a smooth and consistent connectivity Above all it costs me only Rs 14 for 3 days, for a week Rs 28 and for a month Rs 98. I have all the options.
ReplyDeleteDeepak yes its a very good option for Gprs but now its limited to 3GB for 98 Rs its may make some aircel users sad.

ReplyDeleteThe change in plan may not have much affected aircel users as people have been loving the aircel gprs due to good speed.Lets hope that aircel will soon launch 3G internet at low price.
ReplyDeleteThe limit is on aircelgprs apn. The aircelwap apn is still free. It can be used from both pc or mobile but has lots of limitation as it uses a proxy. I have been using aircel PI for an year now and I am quite satisfied with the browsing speeds. Only, I can't upload files/pictures to any site. Even replying to mails is problematic. I don't know if that's just me. Customer Care dont know what to do.

ReplyDeleteAfter putting limitation to data usage, it has become more smooth for browsing. We were getting unlimited usage,(as there were many users) which resulted in slow speed but now the things have change, i used to get download speed of 5~12KBPS. At present i am getting download speed of 25~37KBPS!! Enjoy guys!
